The previous assembly area at FAS has been considerably increased. The expansion was necessary because assembly of the components had increased and thus additional capacities had to be created. As the utilisation of the new area is exclusively for assembly purposes, we are able to achieve a high standard of air purity as well as extremely low noise emissions. Large window surfaces and a modern lighting system additionally create a work-friendly daylight environment at every workstation. A crane system is available for the assembly of heavy and large components. For special module size requirements we use our new mobile 3D measuring technology. A state-of-the-art cleaning system for degreasing components, as well as a laser marking system, round off the assembly area. The new assembly area therefore provides a completely new environment with new opportunities for both our employees and clients.
