FAS Füllanlagenservice GmbH is one of the leading suppliers of replacement parts and components for bottle and can filling systems, bottle cleaning machines and beverage mixing equipment in the international beverage industry. The origin of FAS can be traced back to its partner company, Pinneberger Jung & Co. Gerätebau GmbH. This company had already manufactured spare parts for Ortmann & Herbst, a Hamburg-based mechanical engineering company, for many years. After Ortmann & Herbst had gone into administration there still remained a need for spare parts for these robust machines. Owner Hans Jung therefore founded FAS Füllanlagenservice GmbH in 1997 and, with today's Managing Director Oliver Jakobitz and other former O & H employees, also introduced the machine know-how into the company.
The manufacturing is still executed in-house just like before and is certified accordingly to the requirements for the food and beverage industry according to ISO 9001: 2008. Apart from conventional manufacturing on state-of-the-art CNC machines, we also have a 3D metal printer for additive manufacturing. FAS is therefore extremely versatile and can also supply non-standard parts and complete assemblies or components. Relevant wear parts such as springs and seals are always available in stock. Assemblies and components such as filling valves, press-on cylinders and manifolds can be completely assembled or delivered in individual components.
A particular competence of FAS lies in the adaptation, the optimisation and the conversion of beverage plants or systems. Solutions, such as for the conversion of existing bottle fillers from glass to PET, are developed in our own design department. The specialists from FAS have already planned and executed the transfer of complete manufacturing and filling systems on numerous occasions. The company today operates worldwide for international beverage production companies and breweries. Since fast assistance is often required, FAS provides remote maintenance and fault or error diagnostics from the company headquarters in Pinneberg, although they can of course be quickly on the spot if a plant failure threatens.
This year FAS is taking part for the fifth time at the drinktec in Munich year and can be found on Stand A1-301 in Hall A5.
